Was there just this morning with my hubs for brunch. I rated this cafe a 5 star due to its food, coffee, customer service and ambience. I found the food to be of a sizeable portion, was pretty stuffed by the end of the meal. I had the mushroom omelette which was of a sizeable portion and filled with shimeji mushrooms. Side salad with drizzling of balsamic vinegar plus crunch of almond slice and grilled tomatoes made a perfect pairing to the omelette. My hub's brekkie came with storemade patty instead of the usual run of the mill processed sausages. Coffee was aromatic especially their signature gula melaka coffee. The affable owner was a pleasure to talk to. Wait staff was attentive and friendly. Cosy ambience with a thoughtful corner dedicated to kids play area. Overall, an oasis of good hearty food and calm in the heart of SS15. Keep up the good work guys.
Love this place! Their food is extraordinary. I would rate their food 5 stars from the presentation and taste. They look and cook exactly like the one in picture. I had salmon bruschetta, SOTD and chicken cashew salad and they were all fantastic (all for RM34!) They use plainly raw and top quality ingredients and the best part is their price is so reasonable! They don't even have extra gst and service charge! Ambience is lovely with jazzy music. I love places like this which cooks up to what they promised!

I've been to Good Friends a few times now, and the food has always been terrific. But I thought I'd just leave a review about their service as well.
Two nights ago my friends and I dined at Good Friends, and we waited for quite some time before our food arrived. Surprisingly, this didn't go unnoticed by one of the staff, who asked about our orders and then proceeded to check with the kitchen. After a short while, our food came, and the same staff suddenly proffered a slice of cake to us, explaining that they wanted to compensate us for waiting so long. She even patiently explained why our food took some time to be prepared (there was a minor mishap in the kitchen) and offered her apologies.
My friends and I all agreed that this was truly a mark of excellent service. I've had my fair share of poor service at other restaurants, so the genuine hospitality I received at Good Friends was a true contrast to the shitty service I've had in the past. Thank you once again for going the extra mile to make my friends and me feel extremely welcomed at your restaurant, and we'll most certainly be visiting you again soon.
